This small business practice that I’m talking about is a follow-up system that helps you to keep in contact with potential clients who may be interested in buying your service in the future. When I first started out in business it never occurred to me that I should be following up with certain connections that my business was generating each month and as a result, I allowed quite a few potential clients to slip away from my business. When I started my second business, my coach challenged me to start creating a follow-up system and as I started to create a spreadsheet with a list of names, I started to ask a lot of questions about how often I need to be emailing these contacts and what should I be saying when I write these emails, and which contacts should I be following up. This is the reason why I chose to discuss a follow-up system because this is something I struggled with and I know others entrepreneurs do as well.
